Jared and Jensen met when they were both a lot younger and working just acting gigs didn’t make enough money so they turned to doing porn
Pretty much every director they worked with wanted the two of them together, because they had a unique sort of chemistry that was hard to find in that industry.
They gained quite a bit of popularity, but they both got bigger and higher paying acting roles as well, in TV shows and movies, and they both focused on that, instead.
They didn’t see each other for years.
And then later they meet again when they’re told they’re going to be costars on spn
As /brothers/.
And it’s definitely awkward to play brothers considering their past together, but they make it work
Or they think they do at least. They were never convincing as just brothers, though, and as the show airs, the viewers see their chemistry and see right through the guise of them being brothers
And eventually someone finds their old films- they made kind of a lot together, when they were young and desperate for the money they got from it.
So they get revealed and uncovered and it turns into a huge scandal, but that only boosts the show’s ratings so they can’t cancel it.
And Jensen and Jared aren’t exactly embarrassed by it- it happened, they did what they had to do.
It takes them a long time, but they finally, finally admit that- okay, yeah, maybe they see each other as more than just coworkers.
And their first time as a couple is really good, because they already know what the other likes and wants and needs.
