so like i realize hamilton was a charmer and he was usually pretty successful at seducing ladies, but i did not realize how accurate the line “they delighted and distracted him” was.

cause he wasn’t just a tomcat: he was a bumbling, lovesick, silly, cartoonish tomcat. he annoyed all of his friends by constantly talking about his current love interest, he wrote sappy poems, he wandered around in a lovesick daze, he made bad decisions for sex, it was like…his one true weakness?? whose fatal flaw is that they’re super horny?!?!?!?!?
